As we get closer to our annual True Blessings event, we are more excited than ever to unite with our community to celebrate and tell stories of employment, personal transformation & moving home.
From working with our incredible table hosts to gathering inspiring stories, we can say that this year’s event will support our mission to end homelessness in Charlotte.
A few days ago, our staff began the recording process for True Blessings through a partnership with Loyd Visuals – a Charlotte video production company. Each individual interviewed told a different story, but the theme remained the same – uplifting this year’s Hard-Earned Victories that have come in the midst of uncertainty and garnered through hard work.
As we continue in our mission to end homelessness, we see the importance of recognition, celebration and coming together to forge our path forward.
This year has been full of uncertainty when certainty was needed most. Family changes, work changes, and national changes have affected us greatly, but in that uncertainty we found hope. During this year’s True Blessings event, we will take a moment to reflect on the many Hard-Earned Victories that our neighbors have experienced and look ahead to the work to be done.
We recognize that these victories did not come without hard work, perseverance, and community, and as we celebrate together we invite you to join us
