Holiday Cookies
Groups can bring and serve cookies during lunch. Cookies may also be dropped off.
Instructions for Serving Cookies
- Sign your group up here
- Groups should include 2 – 5 volunteers
- Bring 250 – 300 bags of cookies
- Please place cookies in individual bags before your volunteer day
- If the cookies are large, please put 2 cookies per bag. If cookies are small, please put 4 in a bag • Serve cookies to neighbors during lunch
Location: Day Services Center | 945 N. College Street | Charlotte, NC | 28206
Hours: 11:00am – 12:30pm
Directions upon Arrival: When you arrive at 11:00 a.m., find a parking spot. Please go to the building on the left. Look for double brown doors leading to our kitchen in the smaller parking area on the left. Ring the doorbell. A kitchen staff member will greet you and help with set up. Lunch begins at 11:15 a.m.

Directions upon Arrival: Drive through the gate to the bottom of the lot. You will find a smaller parking area beside the gray building on the left. Pull into the parking lot and look for the double brown doors leading to our kitchen. Ring the doorbell, and a kitchen staff member will come outside to meet you!
Housing Program Gifts
The residents in our housing programs do not have the budget for a special holiday. These items will really brighten their spirits!

DSC Soup Kitchen Gifts on Christmas Day
Help our neighbors stay warm in the winter. On Christmas Day, we want to give the following items to each person who comes to our Soup Kitchen:
- New white adult crew socks
- New adult hat/toboggan
- New adult gloves
- New drawstring bag
