Last year, our community came together to raise approximately $2 million during this one-hour luncheon. This year, we hope to build on that incredible momentum and make an even greater impact.
True Blessings will be held on November 10 at 12:00 p.m. at the Charlotte Convention Center. This year’s theme, Every Door Matters, reminds us that every act of compassion, every opportunity, and every opened door can change a life. Through powerful stories of transformation, True Blessings will highlight how our community comes together to open doors and create pathways home for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.
What are the responsibilities of a Table Host?
As a Table Host, your primary role is to invite guests to fill your table of 10 with friends, colleagues, or others who may be interested in learning more about Roof Above and financially supporting our work.
Make your invitation personal. The most meaningful invitation comes from you. When reaching out, consider sharing:

- Why you first became connected to Roof Above
- Why addressing homelessness matters to you
- Why you continue to support the work
- Why you thought of this person and would like them to join you
Invite your guests. Feel free to forward the invitation email we’ve provided, using the invitation to the right, along with a personal note about why you’d love for them to join you.
Register your guests. Please make sure your guests register by November 3 using this link.
Keep an eye on your table. We will be in touch throughout October to provide updates on who has registered and whether your table is filled. If you have questions about your guest list before then, contact us at trueblessings@roofabove.org.
Help guests know what to expect. There is no charge to attend the luncheon, and Table Hosts have not purchased their tables. True Blessings is a fundraising event, and guests will be invited to make a gift in support of Roof Above’s work and their table’s fundraising goal.
